Developed in response to ECC instructors' and volunteers' desire for the most effective way to deliver ECC courses!

AHA Core Instructor Course

Now instructor candidates can gain a firm foundation for teaching AHA courses, regardless of their area of specialization, with the AHA Core Instructor Course.

For optimal flexibility, the course can be delivered in three ways: online (CEU credit available), on a CD for self-directed learning, or in a classroom.

This course is a prerequisite for all new instructor candidates and for instructors adding another discipline to their teaching credentials. It is also a requirement for all AHA National and Regional Faculty.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider Manual (70-2200)

AHA Core Instructor Course (80-1050)

Course comes with a workbook that includes the course CD -- which allows students access to review course concepts anywhere, anytime -- plus a voucher providing access to the online course.

In addition to new instructor candidates and AHA National and Regional Faculty, this course can be taken by current AHA instructors who wish to enhance their teaching skills.

For instructors who wish to purchase the course:
Go to ahainstructornetwork.org to register on the network. Once fully registered, you will be given an Instructor Core Course code. Please provide this code or your AHA ECC course security ID number when ordering.

PALS Instructor's Tool Kit (70-2209)

This is the guide needed to teach the AHA Core Instuctor course in a classroom setting.

Training Center Faculty Guide For AHA Core Instructor Course (80-1035)

  • a CD with lesson maps, PowerPoint® slides, and a completion certificate for teaching and managing the course
